If you’re looking for a true sleepaway experience in nature, the Winter Solstice Camp by Mad About Education (MAE) is one of the few overnight camps in Malaysia designed specifically to build independence and life skills in kids. It’s held at Eagle Ranch Resort in Port Dickson, complete with dorm-style accommodation, team-building challenges, and outdoor adventures.

Campers follow a structured daily schedule that blends individual electives in the morning with group challenges in the afternoon. Evenings wind down with classic camp activities like campfires, game nights, and movie nights, designed to strengthen friendships and confidence.

The programme includes four meals a day, on-site facilitators, 24-hour supervision, and age-appropriate lodging (younger kids in dorms, teens in chalets). There are two groups offered during the same dates:

• Group 1: Ages 7 to 12
• Group 2: Ages 13 to 17

Price: RM 3,200 (subject to SST)

Parents are required to drop off and pick up at Eagle Ranch Resort, which is a gated, beachfront property with dedicated access control and in-house safety personnel.
