Table of Contents
1 – Four Seasons Hotel Kuala Lumpur
Four Seasons Hotel Kuala Lumpur is the epitome of elegance and tops our list as the best brunch in Kuala Lumpur. Our experience dining in their restaurant, Curate, was more than lovely, especially because of its spacious and warm setting. Not to mention, they have an excellent view of KLCC Park.
We went there for their weekly Sunday Bubbly Brunch, and they did not disappoint in delivering quality brunch options. They served various local dishes, classic brunch items, and a premium selection of meat and seafood.
The best part is they offer kids entertainment, including balloon artists and magicians dressed up as clowns! My daughter loved it very much and was entertained the whole time. Meanwhile, we enjoyed exquisite cocktails and champagnes from Bar Trigona.
The Sunday Bubbly Brunch is priced at MYR 210 per adult (brunch only) and MYR 105 for kids. Meanwhile, brunch with free-flow cocktails, wine, and one glass of champagne costs MYR 348 and MYR 488 for free-flow champagne.

2 – Grand Hyatt Kuala Lumpur
If you’re a big seafood fan, you need to try Grand Hyatt Kuala Lumpur’s newly launched Seafood Sunday Buffet Brunch! We had a great dining experience at THIRTY8. Aside from the wide variety of dishes, the restaurant also boasts 360-degree city views. The view overlooking the KLCC Park and the Twin Towers from the 38th floor is always spectacular!
They also have a dedicated kids play area which is perfect for keeping the kids entertained.
The THIRTY8 Seafood Sunday Buffet menu includes everything from seafood on ice, oysters, and sushi counter to salad, soups, and noodles. They also serve delicious dishes from the grill, such as chicken leg, sea bream, tiger prawn, and more. For THIRTY8’s signature dishes, they have beef Wellington and baked seafood parcels. You can see their complete list of menu items here.
Enjoy THIRTY8’s Seafood Sunday Buffet from 12.30 to 3.00 pm for MYR 268 nett per adult.

3 – Parkroyal Collection Kuala Lumpur
Completing the top three for the best hotel brunches in Kuala Lumpur with a kid-friendly setting is Parkroyal Collection Kuala Lumpur’s Thyme. We had a fantastic brunch at Thyme, featuring their fine selection of roasted carvery, steamed dim sum, and a sumptuous Malaysian and international buffet spread.
We were also served some amazing seafood at our table, including sushi and sashimi, which the family thoroughly enjoyed. The wide variety of dishes on the buffet was excellent. Some highlights were the Rotisserie Prime Rib with Yorkshire Pudding, Lamb Leg Cajun Spice, Porcupine Satay, and more. For dessert, we definitely recommend the Chocolate Souffle.
We visited with friends and luckily were seated next to a spacious kid’s play area, which was enjoyable for our daughter and her friends. They have a variety of activities for kids, such as Balloon Art, Facial Art, Cartoon TV Shows, and Giant Lego Building Blocks.
Thyme’s Bubbly Sunday brunch is available for MYR 198 per adult (brunch delectables food only) and MYR 348 per adult, including the brunch spread with free-flow of bubbly and selected alcoholic beverages.

4 – W Kuala Lumpur
W Kuala Lumpur’s Flock has the best food selection of all brunches. But we only ranked it at number 4 because W is not a brand that targets families.
Flock’s The Sunday Affair Brunch is a wonderful weekend tradition at the hotel. They offer a delectable selection of Pan-Asian cuisine. And they also have great options for vegetarians if you’re looking for new and creative vegetarian/vegan dishes to try.
The restaurant’s atmosphere is very vibrant, with a lovely setting around the theme (flock, birds, etc.) There’s also live music entertainment, which is great if you’re hanging out with friends or going on a date with your significant other. But the music might be a bit too loud for families, so we don’t find it as suitable for families with younger kids.
The Sunday Affair Brunch is available from 12.30 to 3.30 pm for MYR 248 nett per person for food and endless selected non-alcoholic beverages. While you can get alcohol packages for MYR 148 nett onwards.

5 – Mandarin Oriental Kuala Lumpur
Mandarin Oriental Kuala Lumpur Mosaic has a charm of its own. The restaurant is located on the hotel’s ground floor, also overlooking the KLCC Park. Their Sunday Brunch Buffet offers diverse cuisines, including Malaysian, Chinese, Japanese, and Indian. We had a great brunch there, although nothing that would set them apart from the other brunches we mentioned above.
Aside from the different cuisines, they have dedicated stations for salad & appetizers, seafood, pasta, soup & bread, desserts & fruits, and grill. Overall, Mosaic is a good place for brunch with the family if you want a journey through global flavors right in the heart of KL.
Mosaic’s Sunday Brunch Buffet is priced at MYR 245 per person.

6 – Shangri-La Kuala Lumpur
Our brunch experience at Shangri-La Kuala Lumpur’s Lemon Garden was average at the most, including the food quality, but we still enjoyed it. They served various local and international dishes, from Western and Italian to Asian cuisines such as Chinese and Indian. The restaurant’s signature seafood bar featured freshly shucked oysters, premium-cooked and chilled shellfish, sashimi, and sushi.
What we didn’t like about it was the setting; it wasn’t as cozy as some of the other restaurants we dined at. We read about their kid’s friendly station, which would have been a nice touch, with plenty of sweet and savory goodies and healthy a la carte dishes prepared especially for kids. Unfortunately, we missed this even though we visited during the weekend. It’s only available during weekends, and kids can do activities to keep them engaged while the family enjoys brunch. It wasn’t a big deal for us though as our daughter enjoyed the (seafood and pasta) buffet and enjoyed watching the robots that walked/drove in the restaurant.
